I'm sure you can volunteer with Canadian Blood Services.

I have a few times and it's actually pretty awesome. They're only on every two months.

yeah most cities have a salvation army soup kitchen i think idk about meals on wheels i thought that was just a jackie chan movie

So they want a job interview at the same time you said you'd volunteer? Just call the place you're volunteering at and explain the situation and go to the interview. As long as you don't ditch out without an explanation I don't see an issue.

Canadian Forces as in the military?

If so, volunteering at a service's location, like a veterans association (i dont know if cananda has this) or a VA hospital (refer to last) will help you get ahead. Contact schools and child care centers and tell them its for the Forces. It all helps.
