    WHAT TOWERING ARROGANCE

honestly though, when i plan out a week's worth of meals before i go grocery shopping, i browse through cookbooks looking for delicious new dishes because it's boring eating the same things week after week and for fuck's sake i live in a first world country

I haven't had any time for reading on my own accord lately, but over the past month I've read Antigone, Thucydides' History of the Peloponnesian War and The Republic for a political history class I'm in. Next up: Aristotle's Politics!

    fun fun fun

The fifth one is probably the best, purely for the ending of it all. I'm a bit miffed they've done a new one actually.

$9 book at Amazon (New Releases and Best Sellers)

I'm grabbing Margret Atwood's The Year of the Flood and Chricton's Pirate Latitudes.

Still debating on King's Dome one.

They're more overrated than Fight Club.

Ok that's not true, but they are close.

Well I'll agree that the first book is somewhat overrated but most people don't read the rest of the books in the series.

Yeah, I loved that book. The part about baby names and the mother's education level was my favorite part. I finally feel like my prejudice against people with names like Jazzmin and Mercedes has been validated.

No, the entire series. The rest of the books are repetitive trash that I couldn't even finish

I modeled much of my personality on Marco. A lot of it has stuck to this day, oddly.

Tobias was the original emo kid too

Man I had a really vivid sex dream once between Jake and Rachel.

Yeah I picked up on that one a while back. But it's not like Animorphs was the first series to use parasitic mind control as the antagonist.

Did you ever read her other series? Everworld I think it was called? The idea was really interesting, if the execution was a bit sloppy.

Right now I'm reading "Cyclops" by Clive Cussler. Like the rest of the Dirk Pitts series it is entertaining, but unremarkable.

I'm honestly surprised no one has said they are reading Ayn Rand. There's quite a resurgiance in popularity for her books.

No really; every so often there is a surge in the popularity of Ayn Rand's works, and ironically enough one of those times is now during an economic downturn that is due to a lack of regulation of the financial sector.

I'm currently reading Kerouac's On the Road, which was and still is a little difficult to get into, but i gotta say i love the imagery he uses to describe his off-angle perspective of what he sees.
