2 weeks without heroes... and I am still not missing it.
Fair enough lol, but the last episode in particular was bitchin.
Come on guys, those who saw the last one, didn't you say to yourself "oh fuck yes" at the end when that baldy fucker finds the bunny on his table?
As for Rebel, I too had been suspecting that Hana person. I never actually thought of Micah, he could be involved. Micah would explain how Rebel can get all that access to the government systems.
Although, if Micah was involved, surely he could just shut down their computer systems, gimping them in a massive way. It seems a bit odd that someone of his talents wouldn't do that, as it would be an easy task for him. I think this puts suspicion back, fully onto Hana.
A part of me thinks Nathan is rebel, but that wouldn't make any logical sense.
It seems like Nathan is the rebel too but illogical, unless Nathan set up this organization to rally up all the people with powers to form an army, but he could have easily just called a meeting, i guess they had to make the season last somehow.
I can't seem to recall who Hana is..
Hana was only in the show for like a second. She is mostly seen in the metastory stuff (comics etc). She can communicate with electronic devices - not command them, like Micah, but she can send a text message to a cellphone from her head, for instance. She was "killed" by a virus but her consciousness is still floating around the internet or something. Her nickname or hero name or whatever is "Wireless".
There is no reason Nathan would be rebel. He wouldn't want to start a war. It's not Nate.
Hmm wtf thats hella weird, I've never heard anything about that during season 1 but oh well, I guess only time will tell on who this Rebel is.
Sylar's quest has been pretty cool but I can't wait for him to lay the fucking smackdown on some goons.
I was thinking Rebel was Micah since I believed that Hanah to be dead by word of mouth, but a little surfing leads me back to concurring with all you fine gentlemen that Hanah is going to be Rebel

Err scratch that spoiler considering the source is a post from 2007. Her wikipedia article isn't as helpful but is a little more insightful. Does anyone know if the novels are in canon with the show?

Micah is Rebel. Watching it now. That was a fucking awesome episode. I used to dislike Micah, but his balls have dropped now and he might actually turn out to be a pretty cool character, he was like a ninja running away when Tracy iced those goons. And I must say, Daphne's death was rather well done. I think I can condifently say that Fugitives has been pretty damn good and it looks set to finish on a massive high. I am glad I stuck with the series.

Man oh man, for me fugitives has been pretty sloppy and poorly written....until last night. Last night's episode was freaking amazing! Brian Fuller coming back really did up the quality about 100%. I hope they can just keep it going this well until the end of the season, with Brian Fuller getting more scriptwriting duties next season.
I wasn't too aware about the writers situation. I heard they fired some people half way through Villains or something like that. Whatever they did, even if you didn't like Fugutives as a whole (I am loving it), that last episode was a touch of class.
I wonder why Sylar didn't kill that dude.
It still doesnt fit with Sylar's character. I'd still say there were big differences. Sylar is essentially a hunter, there is a personal goal in his deeds, he is getting something out of it (powers).
I think Sylar is playing with him. I think after seeing his father, he wants a challenge, a prey that stands a chance and I cannot help but think that he thinks the bald dude might be it. He is formidable for a human.
I JUST WANT PARKMAN TO DIE!!! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?!?!?!?
yes, considering he, sylar and HRG are played by the three best actors on the show and are still the most engaging characters (despite the shittiness of the show in general)
What?! The guy who plays parkman is fucking horrible.
you are completely wrong and have no idea what you are talking about
I generally agree with this. I would like to see more of Parkman, from the word go he struck me as one of the more interesting characters (played excellently), I liked how his power in the beginning was more of a curse than a gift. I like what they did with the character.
The whole world is crazy, I am the only sane one left.
It is shaping up to be an interesting finale. Sylar posing as Nathan, I wonder how it will go. I must admit, I rather liked that last episode. I like for once not knowing roughly how things will play out.
I haven't watched anything past the third or fourth episode of this season. I just wanted to ask you guys who have been following - should I even bother catching up? I just couldn't handle how fucking over the top it was getting, and how it seemed like consequences had gone missing. I mean, no one could stay dead. Bad guys were good guys and vice versa (but, like, not even any surprising flips in that sense).
Has it gotten better?
Yes it has gotten better. Worth catching up? I don't know. It's now pretty much the best it's been since season 1.
It's gotten better but there is still some shitty episodes but I don't think it is worth catching up, you'd be thankful that you spent your time watching something else.
I am very curious to see how it is going to end. The last episode was ok, I can only hope that they can pull of an excellent finale.
With the way things have gone lately, I'm wondering if they're saving Peter gaining his powers back for the season finale. Which makes me wonder if he does it by stealing Sylar's power. I'm just tired of seeing Peter as a worthless hero compared to Claire
I think the nature of the programme means that it could in theory run for a long time. I did enjoy the finale but to be honest I was surprised to see the start of volume 5. The show did lose its wa during season 2 and for most of Villains, in my opinion it picked up during the last 3 or 4 episodes of villains and I really enjoyed fugitives, for some reason I was expecting them to take a break and maybe take stock of things. Maybe they have already taken stock, I don't know.
The finale was great. I am also surprised to see the start of volume 5. I don't think it's going to be really good, but damn I can't believe he's dead . And damn damn damn it just makes me wanna wtf. They coulda ended the whole series right there lol. It was great though, I wish we got to see the fight scene of sylar and the 2 brothers.
The big plot twist in the finale was actually stolen from the comic Exiles #82
It was just as dumb in the comic as it was in the show
Canceled.

Rumor has it, NBC is going to do some sort of mid-summer or early fall "wrap up" for it, though.
