Im watching Heroes right now, and Im wondering why they cant stay dead.
Im watching Heroes right now, and Im wondering why they cant stay dead.
Because there are enough of them with enough healing powers for anyone to be in the right position to save anyone at any time
Claire Bennett is a deus ex machina.
Why does the "German" have to have the power of magnetism.
And Mohinder going to inject himself without testing it on some guinea pig like a rabbit seemed out of character.
Meh at least the story is plodding along at a good pace.
Magneto was unavailable, so they had to bring in someone else.
I think the fact that it was out of character made it in character. He's one of those stuffy guys who never takes any risks then one day he takes one and shit blows up in his face.
Yeah, there is that, but the writing is pretty bad so far. No emotional connection with the characters. And if Sylar is Nathan and Peter's brother for real it is just gonna be stupid.
I have to agree with piranhas here. Everyone can't arise from the dead. There are simply too many "heroes" now. Villains are less numerous still, but there are so many subplots now that it's going to be hard to figure out who, when, and where everything is happening. Hopefully much of the flab will be cut down, with more focus on a few different people than the ten or so different scenes that played this past Monday. I'm wondering now if the writer's strike was a blessing in disguise. Don't get me wrong, I fell in love with Heroes almost has soon as it hit the airwaves, but I think they are trying too hard to pack this much content into an hour show.
Btw, who the fuck gave "future" Peter the soul melding ability? Unless I missed something...
Wait, what? Brother? Gabriel Gray? That's a longshot, but anywho.
Downloading Episode one and two. Eagerly awaiting to watch. Question: Episode one and two were played back to back last Monday or has season three been going on for a couple of weeks?

There is a lot of cheap stuff going on, for sure. For one thing, this whole time travel business has been all but exhausted. Nikki having multiple personalities has been exhausted. Claire almost dying but then not dying has been exhausted. The Peter's dead oh wait no he isn't now Nathan is dead wait nope thing has been exhausted. I feel like nothing interesting is happening. And I always found the Maya storyline uninteresting (her super power is making people's eyes turn to black goo? really?).
On the Dr. Suresh front...well. While it may seem like the self-injection was out of character, he has kind of been whining about not being special for the entire series. So I wasn't too surprised.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with the new episodes. It seems like whatever captivated me before is gone. We'll see.
I too am dissapointed with the new stuff. That girl being so fast, Hiro cannot stop her pissed me off, Mohinder becoming spiderman was just too much. They are running out of ideas and making it become too fantastical, the first season was great because it was as grounded in reality as possible but it is moving away from that at a massive rate.
Ok, I thought tonight's episode was the best episode since season one
I actually enjoyed it and was intrigued by stuff that happened
plus fluffy Sylar looks fun.
I'm surprised Sylar took the fat guys power and not the black guy's
he didn't kill anybody
the fat guy was shown being put back in the cell at the end.
For this being called Heroes: Villains, I'm kind of surprised all the villains sans Hiro's nemesis and her boss have been caught
also, what about Peter's girlfriend who got stuck in the future? Did he stop caring about that?
There's supposed to be more villains that we won't see for a while.
and I too wondered about that. Since that future isn't the future anymore, does that mean that Caetlin stopped existing? or is she still real in a tangent universe?
Either way I don't think she's coming back ever.
Also, that black guy in africa with Isaac's power.... I hope his power is to see more than just Parkman's future, cause that would be lame as hellllllllllllll.
EDIT: Apparently Tim Kring said that the whole caetlin thing would have been resolved if they had gotten to do a whole second season. So he says to just consider it an "Unfinished chapter"

I am downloading episode 3 as we speak.
Sylar and Noah team up? That has to be fucking awesome, the 2 biggest badasses in the show, it can only lead to the win. I hope they get things back on track. I am fed up of someone learning the future and trying to stop it, its been done too many times now. Introducing bad guys is a good way to go if done right, I just fear that the show peaked in season 1.
I'm pretty sure that he "consumed" Jesse's power, as he's seen cutting him open against the glass window. All you see after is a splatter of blood.
Heroes is starting to get way too tough to keep track of. Plus, each episode feels like it should be two hours long, as once I settle down and get into the show, it's already over...
DishNetwork misled me.
The info for it said Mohinder has unexpected results from his experiment. He wasn't even in the episode.
However, I loved the turn where Sylar's a Petrelli and he teams up with Noah.
Also, Claire's mom [biological] rocks.
My question is when Zimmerman said he "made" whats-her-name....did he mean her and Nikki were his twin daughters or were they lab results?
I was also glad to see the Haitian. I missed him.
They had so much potential to give Suresh some kind of sweet as power, but instead they just turned him into some recycled Beast wannabe.
I'm disappointed in the new season so far.
Episode 3 was pretty awesome. Part of me wishes Sylar and Noah could be buddies, and they would rename it to the Sylar and Bennet adventures, it would be the greatest show ever.
I still hate how Daphne can run faster than time, no no no, it isn't right. I want someone to beat her up. I hope Sylar gets her. To be honest, I hope Sylar doesn't get killed, he is just too good a character and for me is one of the few things that is keeping Heroes watchable now, they need him until the story picks up.
Plus Spiderman is a scientist too yo.
The black guy was fed off of others' fears to obtain his strength.
Oh that's right. My bad.
Yep, so it's confirmed. After watching the third episode in this new season, I'm done. It's become too stupid for suspension of disbelief. What a disappointment.
Episode 4 was interesting. Whilst I dissaprove of the constant re use of plot devices, this one gave me a bit more hope that the season will pick up. It was fun seeing Sylar as a good guy lol, but I still prefer him as the baddy, when his son dies its like "oh shit son, you forget that I am a secret badass and Ill fuck yo shit up" and he nukes the black dude, I thought it was pretty good. In saying that, I think it has become too fantastical to be salvaged. For me it is still watchable but I think the heights of season 1 will never be seen again.
Is sylar dead? I'm not entirely sure about that. Also, I agree with the whole "girl who can run faster than time" being retarded, because, well, "I wasn't fast enough" to get away from that nuclear explosion but she can run faster than time? Dumb.
I'm enjoying season 3 but it seems to be full of either huge plot holes or unexplained answers. Like how come bullets can kill Peter when he has the regeneration power, yet that explosion didn't?
That's a good point. I thought the only way to stop regen was to lodge something in the brain/cortex. Which is odd if powers come from the adrenal glands, but I guess without a brain you can't produce.. and so on.
I'm only continuing to watch it because it's Tivo'd, but on the whole this whole season is getting way out of proportion.
Did not enjoy episode 4. Seemed silly and full of plot holes if you ask me.
Papa Petrelli is coming....
