I am incredibly pissed off because I think I may have accidentally thrown away my Birthday card off Samuel L. Jackson.

I just watched Push. Meh.
I just watched donkey punch. Someone told me it was a really good scary movie, but it ended up being an almost porno.
I'm watching the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. In blu-ray, though. Don't judge me.
Well I just watched X-Men Origins and, well, I was mixed on this one. The graphics were pretty good and I loved the choreography and the inclusion of some of the xmen i was always more interested in (nightcrawler, specifically), but a couple points really stuck me.
I'm not a big comic book guy, but my understanding of Wolverine's origins were that he was held captive in a base somewhere in the Rockies and was experimented on for years, where his bones were slowly replaced with adamantium versions. That's not exactly how the movie portrayed it, and I was disappointed that they opted for a quick 5 minute origin scene rather than work up the horror of Wolverine's tortured past.
The other scene wasboobs
Aside from that, I really liked it. I somehow looked past the clichés and overused tropes and saw something ultimately entertaining in the film itself. The dialogue seemed pretty ok, and they managed to make Liev Schreiber look and sound like a badass, which is impressive enough in my books (probably just a personal view where i never saw him that way), although I would have liked to see more anger in Hugh Jackman's portrayal, but that's just nitpicking.
I watched S. Darko tonight. One of the worst movie's I've ever seen.
Wolverine doesn't really get angry until after he loses his memory, lol. But no, his bones were coated in adamantium all at once, it wasn't a slow process. The adamantium bullet was a bit much for me, Gambit wasn't Cajun, and Deadpool got bastardized at the end, but other than that it was pretty ok.
It did well enough that we are getting a Deadpool spin-off movie, so I am pretty happy about that.
yeah i wanted a tall skinny gambit with a thick cajun accent and instead i got a faggot but oh well
the adamantium bullet isn't so bad, but i had no idea wolverine's quickhealing powers included fixing his brain when it had 4 bullets in it.
Oh, i know what the movie told me about his bones, but i had thought his origin story was different, but i guess it depends on whose comics you go by (i don't know any)
Wolverine is pretty much immortal. He's regenerated from being just a skeleton before. Like, no flesh no nothing. Even comic book fans thought that that was a little much though, lol.
I have hated the X-men movies thus far but I really want to see Wolverine for the simple fact that a review I read called it "clawesome".
Fucking clawesome!
Apparently there is an after-movie scene in some theaters where Deadpools headless body gets up and grabs his decapitated head which then looks at the screen and says "Shhhhhhh".
This news makes me happier than I was before.
Well, he did get his head slashed off by Wolverine, it is pretty likely his mouth got cut back open.
also come on it's fucking x-men his mouth can goddamn reopen.
Deadpool is not an X-man
coq, at one point in the comics he survives an atomic blast and reheals. Outside of Magneto ripping the adamantium out of his body, there's few scenes where Wolverine is in risk of dying
Man I had no idea till I read this thread how invincible Wolverine was. That's pretty lame really. Kind of like all the Superman cop outs. They just reek of deus ex machina.
Except Superman is a goody two-shoes. Wolverine is kind of... rebel with a cause.
Just saw Wolverine, too. I liked it. Had some plot holes but overall I liked it. Good action scenes.
I started Shooter but I'm not really watching it.
Oh I watched The Rocker, Role Models and Never Back Down yesterday. First two were good last one was meh.
I watched Quantum of Solace last night. The plot was fucking stupid but the movie was still entertaining.

I'm about to watch Old School. Never seen it before but my nickname at work is Blue so I figure I might as well check out the movie.
Just saw Star Trek. I really liked it, thought it was really well done, and incredibly entertaining.
