Sounds good man, i'm glad that you can keep it going. Just don't lose motivation and you'll be able to lose it in no time. But just because you lost 8 pounds in a month don't expect it to be gone in 6 months, so if your hopes are high it won't be crushed when you see you aren't losing weight at a constant rate.

I keep telling myself to go lose some weight, but i've been really lazy. I have however lost 30 pounds in the past year over doing nothing different. My physical activity has died down a bit so I haven't really been getting fit, but surprisingly i'm not gaining any weight either, and I eat out at least 4 days a week. I try to lower my calorie intake, though that isn't always such a healthy option. Though for a person like me, I don't believe I burn that many calories, so a 2000 calorie diet doesn't seem too bad. Though in the past few days I've gone to 3000 . Calorie counting is a huge thing for me.

I used to have some PE classes in college and exercise about 4 hours a week, and walk about 80 blocks a week (back and forth from the bus stop to school, etc). That's how I slowly lost weight. But I think you're doing great, I really wish I could continue on like you do. I have EA Sports Active 2 in my room on PS3. I have a really cramped room, almost no space to play it, and I feel weird jumping around since nobody else in my house knows what I'm doing (I don't want people to know I'm trying to get skinnier :P). I told myself I would play everyday when I got back from vacation... played it once in the past month. I was also thinking about getting a gym pass, but I'm not sure how motivated I would be. That and I know my mom would bug me and ask to come with me every time I go to the gym.

Hopefully I can start getting back into shape soon , currently 170lb at 5'10". I was aiming for 160
