I love love love love love this workout series! It's all plyometrics for a combination of cardio, resistance, core balance, and flexibility conditioning. Your legs will be on fire after you finish the day's workout, but man will it feel great! I've seen huge gains in strength, endurance, balance, and jump height. I've been splicing in Ab Ripper X (from the P90X series) on days when I feel like I can make it through after my Insanity workout, as well as Stretch X and Yoga X on off days.

Beachbody's line in general is all awesome. Has anybody else ever tried it? If not, I suggest you give it a look. It'll take some strong joints and legs to be able to even begin Insanity, so it isn't for people just starting into fitness, but damn is it fun if you're ready for it!
