Anyone get the new DLC for the 360 and was it worth it?

Haven't gone for the DLC yet, but just started replaying the game with a slew of GECK created mods. Got majority of the stuff from the comprehensive top 50 list on fallout3nexus.com.

nermy got it but has not yet weighed in on the quality of DLC

DLC was not worth what I paid, but it was ok I guess.

The character I used for it was probably the worst one of my three I could have used, since I ended up using the knife most of the time because of my weapon skills. Small Guns and Unarmed would probably have a way easier time.

The new weapons / armor are ok I guess, but nothing special.

I wish it would let you still roam the Mainland after the main quest is completed, like I don't want to start over.

I really hope the dumb hippie who turned the gauss rifle into an energy weapon gets a stern punch in the spine.

I don't understand why I get negative karma for half the shit I do. I mean really now (oh shit spoilarz)

Roy Philips tells me, to my face, that he's planning on having feral ghouls overrun Tenpenny Tower and slaughter everyone. So I kill him and get negative karma. What the siht?

Give Ronald Laren the Quantums instead of Sierra? Okay so he's an idiot and maybe a rapist but I fail to see how what I did was evil.

Blow up Megaton? Let's be honest here, guys. Megaton is a town full of xenophobic pricks who, as random NPCs reveal, won't sell to non-residents, and won't let non-residents buy a home to become residents. Fuck them all sideways.

Yeah because worshiping a bomb is a lot weirder than worshiping an invisible man in the sky, or a fat asian dude, or a space alien from outer space who put space prisoners in peoples' souls.

In a post-apocalyptic world I don't foresee anyone in a dreadful walled-off community surrounded by mutants and raiders being very welcoming.

Despite the fact that pretty much every other settlement, even Tenpenny Tower if you're not a ghoul, seems quite welcoming to most people, whereas in Megaton they'll let you in but refuse to sell you water or let you buy a house.

Uh you must have gone to the other Tenpenny Tower in the game because the one I went to you either had to blow up megaton, bribe the guard, or trick the guard into getting in.

I guess it is just a glitch on my end though idk.

Rivet City? Paradise Falls? Little Lamplight? Even the Republic of Dave or whatever it was. They're not welcoming until they size you up or you bribe/trick them.

What? Yeah, I was able to trade in Megaton right off the bat.

Yeah, because nothing's quite as welcoming as a drawbridge.

Kind of a side effect of the city being a ship that's like 100 yards away from the mainland.

Plasma rifle.

Same difference it still sucks compared to the unique Chinese Assault Rifle

Actually that plasma rifle is one of the best weapons in the game. My guy uses it as his main energy weapon since I don't like using up alien power cells.

Plasma rifle is a small gun though
