My latency is normally not higher than 300 ms, but even then I think that 1/3 of a second has cost me.
And even beyond latency, like I said: 10 seconds of loss of control over my character because of lag spikes often results in a death.
It's one thing to have permanent death in a turned based game like a Rogue-like, but in a real-time action game like Diablo where a simple accident or a couple seconds loss of control could cost you everything, I just don't understand it.
I dunno... as a solo wizard in Nightmare, it feels like things are dying rather slowly, even while my character is quite squishy. Perhaps I'm wrong about that.
I will say this: I don't know how I could do this without Diamond Skin (absorbs all damage up to a limit for a period of time). Also, Teleport with Wormhole is incredible: it's a blink, but after the first use the CD is delayed for a second which means you can get up to 2 more casts off. It's just amazing control.
