As I'm playing this game I can't help to think why it's getting mediocre reviews. Given it's not really a comparable game to the original(not as scary, if scary at all), it still is a really fun game in my opinion. It actually looks really really nice compared to most games w/4xAA and 16xAF. I don't know why they have the weirdest key bindings, but after a minute of changing them it was fine. The audio is really good as well. Only thing I have against it is it's too linear of a game, if there were some alternate routes to the end of the level or different outcomes it would have been a 10 for me, even though the ending is really good. The game play feels more arcadish then action, but that was something I really liked. Overall I give this game a 8.9 out of 10.
