No. The game has been out of production for ages. Finding a playable copy in any store would be the equivalent of searching for the Holy Grail. A quick look on Amazon reveals new copies to be listed at $165.00 and used copies to be at $49.98. On E-Bay, bids are starting out at around $40 to $60 and are going up. You would also need to have a PSX or PS1 in playable condition with the memory card which the system could probably be purchased at a second hand store but good luck finding the memory card. If you still are sitting on your PS2 then you should be good to go. As for downloading or playing on an emulator, good luck finding a complete PC copy without glitches and a patch for XP, Vista, or Windows 7. Emulation has a whole list of considerations but simply put is not for everyone.

So that's my argument. I have a boner for FF7.

well i'm sure it can't be that hard to find an emu.
my housemate did it last year and he barely knows what the internet is and knows nothing about computers.
he had it working in about a day.
