The upcoming "Dawnguard" DLC for
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim will feature a werewolf perk tree. We learned this during our live E3 2012 coverage, where Todd Howard from Bethesda noted that the game's first DLC will feature "a lot of content."
Among that content: The ability to play as a vampire lord or a vampire killer, a special dodge move where you turn into a bat, crossbows for more firepower, a new dragon shout called "Soul Tear" that allows the collection of souls, and even a family of weapons and armor that are more powerful than your Daedric gear. Soon, all the fashionable people in Skyrim will be rocking Dragon Bone gear.
We already knew that Dawnguard will feature vampires, who gain experience through sucking the life of their victims, and have their own exclusive perk tree, but did you know it will feature a new mount? One summoned from a horrible dimension called Soul Cairn? That's on the way as well.
The Dawnguard DLC will provide 20 hours of gameplay for $20. It will be available for the 360 on June 26, and for PC and PS3 some unspecified date after that.
We'll have a video up for you soon, so sit tight.
