No, but in that case he's pretty much used as a stock character.
They did in the latest run of Ghost Rider, but he's a pretty shitty dark lord and his storyline may or may not have already been retconned or at the very least cancelled.

I didn't end up following it but he had to track down 666 individuals and kill them, but by the end of issue 12 he had killed 2.
Then the new arc started, which is actually really cool.

Well it was Mephisto and I don't know the last time Spider-Man ever went magical or mystical before the retcon.

Before the retcon they were pretty much transforming him from a science-based superhero to a mystically-based superhero (kind of like black panther only with a spider totem). There was some nonsense about how the spider biting him wasn't a coincidence, and he was chosen by the spider-god or whatever.
I hope to god all of that was erased along with his marriage. I was not a big fan of Straczynski's run.
