I would love to talk about/nerdgasm over it w/ people, but alas, here in the real world I know no other comic nerds.
By the way, hi, it's been like 5 years since I've been on, not since this was LWS.

I edited your post and thread title to add the title of the comic to the title of the thread so that you would have a much better chance of getting replies with a specific thread title
No, I am not.
What do you think so far Nermy? I've been looking forward to it for a long time, and I'm enjoying it immensely, but this last issue irked me a little bit. I didn't like the blatant filler at the end nor do I understand why Wonder Woman should be a Star Sapphire, or why somehow merely a violet ring is enough to sever her connection to the black.
Well so far I've enjoyed it, but that may be because there's nothing better going on in comics right now. Johns has been building up to this storyline for a while now and you can really see it if you go back through his GL run; it's not like Secret Invasion where Bendis pretended to have been building it for 10 years when it was obvious that he put it together in like a week. I think the Indigo corps could have been done better. I get making them a mystery but I also don't give a rats ass about them.
Yeah, the whole wonder woman thing was weird, but they'll probably explain it in more detail later. If you read the Wonder Woman blackest night title it shows that aphrodite had trapped Wonder Woman in her own mind to try and resist the black ring, and she was the one who gave her the star sapphire ring, but that kind of seems dumber to me than her just getting the ring but whatever.
