Hulk #36 and Thunderbolts #160 were definitely above par. I mean Hulk and Thunderbolts are usually great reads but these two issues were A+ material. I think I'm in love with Jeff Parker. I love how he weaves in things he briefly touched upon months ago and turns them into major plot points.

I can't recommend Hulk and Thunderbolts enough. If you start reading Hulk and/or Thunderbolts and you like it, I suggest starting from the beginning of Parker's run on the titles (#25 and #144 respectfully). I hate how some writers always seem to write neat, self-enclosed 6 issue arcs, perfect for trade paper backs instead of fully embracing the comic book medium and writing each issue as an individual part of a long serialized story. Jeff Parker's style is most certainly the latter. There are things that have been hinted on for over a year in Thunderbolts that still have yet to come to fruition.
