Explaining Porn to Girlfriend

Ok I'm having serious issues explaining porno to my girlfriend.

I tell her that most guys do it, and she'll be lucky to find a guy who doesn't watch porn.

She thinks that i'm cheating on her.

She also thinks that because its a fantasy, it means i want it, which is not true... so she know thinks she has to look like a porn star and i dont want her to as most guys want girls to look natural.

She doesn't get that porn is just fantasy.

Anyone got any help what to say to explain I love her, and watching porn is just what guys do and guys can wank to pretty much any ugly porn star, so long she gets pounded in the vagina....

- ignore her feelings and continue watching pornography (and then continue your relationship/life as normal)
- improve communication and attempt to better illustrate your reasoning (and then continue your relationship/life as normal)
- downplay the pornography and/or completely cut it off (and then continue your relationship/life as normal)
- end the relationship (and then continue your relationship/life as normal)

each has upsides and downsides, although the first is probably the one i would choose. not only does it prove to her in practice that everything's going to be okay and you still enjoy fucking her beautiful brains out while spanking it to random azn chix, but it further helps your relationship in showing that you know what you're doing and second-guessing how much you appreciate her because of something you enjoy is downright irrational and unintelligent.

Unfortunately, faesce is correct on two accounts. First, he's correct that this is an issue that men often face with their girlfriends. Second, ultimately faesce's option may be the one you have to choose. If she's too dense to even try to understand that all men look at porn, then hide the evidence of your porn from her.

Also, if you're not her first boyfriend, and she thinks you're different from her previous boyfriends, then that says something about those other guys' initiative and ability to hide their porn...

On the other hand, her anger with you might be more over the fact that you are leaving evidence of your porn out in the open. In that case, it is reasonable that she requests for you to keep evidence of your porn viewing habits out of her sight. However, it sounds like more than that.

If you do want to try to make your girlfriend understand, I'm sure that Dan Savage has covered this topic somewhere in one of his Savage Love columns. Try perusing them for some advice or even use it as a reference for why your porn viewing is okay (if she'd buy his arguments).
