I get negative whatever from my posts in flames, I mean Flames. Doesn't this sort of defeat the purpose of, like, everything?

Can we take out the rep button in flames, or like at least the negative aspect? I don't care about having a "terrible reputation" but it seems like half of that is coming from my posts in the forum where I am allowed to be an asshole.
