How so? I see the bourgeoisie, petty-bourgeoisie (which is what the US was built upon, "The American Dream") and the proletariat. These are the three main classes and I see them in every single state that exists right now. (The only exception are some extremely backwards nations with peasants whose entire lives revolve around the land they work on, or tribes)

Petty-bourgeois are those who primarily earn their own salaries as opposed to receiving a wage. So the self-employed, etc. would fall under this. As would accountants.

Just like how feudalism was inferior to capitalism. That's why Marx praised Adam Smith since the bourgeoisie back then (in the 17th and 18th centuries) was revolutionary. Marx also sent a letter to Abe Lincoln (whose ambassador replied, Google if you don't believe) praising him since Lincoln was helping to end slavery. (Also because Lincoln came from the working-class)

There are, as I explained, two types: those who work on land (e.g. small shop owners) who can easily be threatened by a more advanced and efficient corporation or simply large chain of stores (these are the types that Lenin said vacillate and thus can be allied with, but only with caution) and the ones like accountants who do work for the bourgeoisie but not on a wage-basis. Marxists don't judge classes based on income. They judge them based on relations to the means of production. You can own a huge LCD TV and still be proletarian, just like you can be a struggling small business owner and still be petty-bourgeoisie.
When you talk to Marxists, very few use upper/middle/lower-class because that implies that income is the factor in class. If someone gets by due to a wage, they are proletarian.
As I said there are different types. We don't doubt that white-collar proletarians are more likely to side with the petty-bourgeoisie for example as opposed to blue-collar, but proletarians remain as such. Police are proletarian, but that doesn't mean they won't side with the bourgeoisie in situations that warrant it. The leader of the party I belong too served in the US navy for years, but US military members are generally going to be more patriotic for obvious reasons. Their class is still the same: proletarian.
