Emo is a culture that was birthed in the petty-bourgeois class. It is based on alienation, but in this case it is a superficial alienation based around an individualistic culture. This came from the rise of the division of labor, and so on.

No, it's because I believe in the world-view of Marxism (historical and dialectical materialism) and believe that the capitalist system is inferior to socialism (and then eventually communism.)

Just like how feudalism was inferior to capitalism. That's why Marx praised Adam Smith since the bourgeoisie back then (in the 17th and 18th centuries) was revolutionary. Marx also sent a letter to Abe Lincoln (whose ambassador replied, Google if you don't believe) praising him since Lincoln was helping to end slavery. (Also because Lincoln came from the working-class)
