Yeah, the motherboard didn't pick up my graphics card at all at first, I was like wtf, tried going into the bios and check shit, no luck.
I did a google, and apparently the motherboard I have doesn't like 6950s.
I freaked out and in a last ditch attempt I thought I'd take it out and put it back in again.

    Thankfully, it worked.

Also, it doesn't want to load the bios if I have my external hdd plugged in, which is kinda annoying. I'm hoping a format of the external will fix that. I read its something to do with windows 7 boot loader and bad partitions or some shit.

Not played anything on it yet, installing bf3 as we speak.
    Pictures coming tomorrow.
My friend had a similar problem, his computer stopped booting, unplugging the external helped get it a little further, but it still wasn't booting correctly. After reseating the Ram, doing a CMOS reset, and cleaning out all the dust, it somehow finally worked, thankfully. I do remember my motherboard didn't like my HD4850, so weird -_-. I upgraded my PSU twice trying to see if the card would work, but then I just ended up going with nvidia and it worked well. then I popped the 4850 in my friend's computer and it worked perfectly fine.

What are all your thoughts on Overclocking? I honestly feel it is really unnecessary for me at the moment. My games are running at solid frames, and my computer runs perfectly fine. I tried overclocking once on my computer, same GTX 460 2gb though, and only after 5mhz increase my computer froze, so I was like okay.. lets not do that again.

Then a month later I have a new computer, same GTX460, but an i5-2500k as well. I haven't overclocked that either, even though there's a simple tool for that. I have the stock CPU cooler, maybe in the future i'll look into a better cooler, if I ever plan on overclocking, because I read that you should if you plan to overclock the CPU. But my video card.. that sure was absurd.. I guess I shouldn't bother overclocking if I don't really need it?

I was using MSI Afterburner, my current Mhz are 710/1420/1800 (core/shader/memory).
