Well yeah DLPs are nice, but not exactly the space savers for rooms. Plus I don't know if I've ever seen a DLP for ~ $800 or for the size he was looking for. Didn't really feel the need to mention them.

In any other circumstance I'd recommend a DLP. We have a Samsung at my house and it's beautiful. For gaming purposes with a 360 or PS3 with HD, it's great.
