You're going to have to find some way to do escrow. Paypal is probably the best bet for both of you.
There is no magic "gimme my money back" button. The buyer would have to file a complaint, Paypal places the money on hold and you each have to send in documents etc to make your case.After I give him the account he could just claim his money back and never give me my account back.
Isn't there a way you can allow him to login to the account to verify, but still have access to the email/secret questions to recover it? I'd assume so... You should be able to hold this until payment has cleared and been transferred out, then allow him to change the email over to his.
I'd refuse this out of simple principle, as I assume most reasonable buyers would. There's no way the buyer can ensure that he'd actually get the account once the OP received the money. He may be on good legal footing, but there's no reason to throw $700 out there like that in the first place.
