Maybe this will get AT&T to being back the unlimited data plan. Doesnt matter to me either way though, I still have it.

No, all they did in learning that Verizon was getting the iPhone was double the early cancellation fee to stop people from leaving their shitty service.

Unlimited data plans are universally going to disappear.

There's going to be more smartphones which means more demands on the network which means more overloading of networks unless data use is curtailed to a degree.

The most profitable and practical way of doing this is by no longer offering unlimited data plans.

This is unfortionate, however if you have a plan with unlimited data, you are "grandfathered" in. At least that's how it works with Verizon.
