Ammo is about the same as 5.56. But mags are alot more. And I never really like those uppers. Not much room for optics. Either irons, or a red dot and you would have to mount it too far back for me.

My barrel order got pushed back another 1.5- 2 months. So I may go look elsewhere.

I say you buy a CHF upper off bravoco, take the barrel for your own, and sell the stripped upper. I'm sure a stripped bravoco upper could fetch you a good bit, and all their components are top quality so you know you're getting a good barrel.

EDIT: What barrel were you looking at, anyways?

Yeah, not really interested in that. Primarily due to financial constraints. Besides, I have more than fifty M16 mags, and little desire to buy expensive mags for a pea shooter less effective than 5.56.
