No, it isn't. And no, it doesn't. There are subtleties about these things. The way he held himself, the way his limbs moved kind of clunkily, but constantly tensed, the intense focus on his face despite the rage, and -- as I said -- his shrieks give it away. (Not to mention the SUBJECT MATTER of the tantrum; I've known a lot of autistic/Asperger's kids who get disproportionately upset about video games specifically.)

I've been spending a lot of time around kids like this since I was about seven, been looking after them since I was about fourteen, and teaching them since sixteen. I know the signs. Your ignorance of the signs means it looks like a temper tantrum. Your inability to see the differences doesn't mean there aren't any.
