I had the same problem the other day
What I don't get in this video is why the bleeding guy just sits there and doesn't seem to notice he bleeding everywhere. First thing I would've done after that guy got off the bus was pinch my nose to clot the bleeding.
Also, don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk - proven here
Even if he could walk the walk I don't get why he was being so unnecessarily rude and obnoxious. I also guarantee his dumbass didn't learn a single thing from the beating he took and deserved. After getting destroyed he still is like "I'll fuck you up." What a moron, why do people care about acting so "hard" all the time? If only he realized the misunderstanding and swallowed his pride, then he would have had a lot more pride by the end of that bus ride, and a lot less pain. Even if he had succeeded, what was his goal, to beat the shit out of some grandpa and go to jail to get his ass pounded? Fucking retarded.
i don't know when i last saw racism as blatant as the racism in the comments for that video. i just -- well, it leaves me kind of dumbfounded.
edit: i mean sure i can see what they're getting at but man some people have no tact
welcome to the internet. i'm afraid comments like those are often typical.
no, no need to qualify what you said. they aren't "getting at" anything except that black people are all as violent and stupid as this guy.Edit: i mean sure i can see what they're getting at but man some people have no tact
Wow, you must view casual discourse like this:
because it's hardly rare on this site.
I feel bad for that old man - I really hope he doesn't get villified for this. Some ignorant dick was acting all tough and got punched out for it. He was practically begging for it. Race doesn't even have anything to do with this, unless your an armchair moralizer whose opinion on social stereotypes is proven by isolated incidents.
I want to know what has happened after this. This is awesome.

Wow. This guy is a nutcase.
Also, how is a 50 year old guy "the younger generation"?
And I find this whole business distasteful. Yeah, the black guy was clearly the agitator and the aggressor, but I sort of feel that this white guy is being overly-adulated by other white people as well. This stupid fight recorded by this dumb woman has really seems to have brought out people's racial fears.
You think so? It looked to me like the white guy tried to leave the situation behind when he walked up to the front of the bus. Then the black guy followed him up there and assaulted him without provocation. Even if you mean verbally, it sounded like the white guy was on his phone minding his own business, when the black guy decided to deliberately make a racial case out of something he heard the white guy say, and started badgering him over it. Seems to me like the black guy instigated it in every way possible. Not only did he start and press the verbal argument, but he followed the white guy and punched him when the white guy tried to walk away from the whole situation.
EDIT: And on top of that the black guy was apparently flashing a knife, again totally without provocation or justification.

As Syme said, I have no idea where you could draw this conclusion from anything. The white guy might be a little nuts, but he definitely was trying to get out of the situation when he moved to the other part of the bus, when the black guy decided to come up and punch him.
And the guy's story seems plausible. In the video the black guy was yelling about shining shoes and calling the white guy racist.
I can kinda see how the old white guy could have started this whole ordeal. He kept asking the black guy to shine his shoes, saying that he offered to but the black guy was denying it completely, and just getting pissed off. For some reason I kinda believe him, and that he never offered to spitshine his shoes and that the batshit crazy old guy just made it up to start some shit.
EDIT: Just watched the interview video. Hmm. Now I'm not sure what to think.

This guy is batshit crazy. I'd be interested in finding out if there was any truth to what he said about the guy going to jail.
Well the old guy's story (going by the interview video that you yourself posted) is that he was on the phone with someone, talking about having a nice pair of dress shoes spit-shined for his mother's funeral, and the black guy overheard this and decided to assume he was talking about having his shoes shined by a black person, and started hectoring him about him "why it gotta a brotha who spit-shine yo shoes". The video begins as they are arguing about this, with the white guy trying to say that he didn't say anything to suggest that the person who shines his shoes would be black, and the black guy refusing to listen in the slightest.
Jesus, even before watching the interview, what could possibly make you think this is how it went down? There's definitely nothing in the original video to suggest that the old guy "kept asking the black guy to shine his shoes". It begins with the black guy going "why a brotha got to spit-shine your shoes" and the white guy protesting that he never said anything about a black person shining his shoes, and that the person who shines his shoes could just as easily be Chinese.Originally Posted by srsinternets
So, again: Absolutely nothing to support your suggestion that the white guy started the incident because he "kept asking the black guy to shine his shoes".
This is what I figured. I shouldn't have said it was obvious because looking back on it it isn't. The first thing I heard was the white guy saying how much would you charge me for a spitshine. If that was the first thing that was said then I think it was a blatantly racist comment that was undeserved. If the situation occurred like anonymous d said then I would think the black guy is in the wrong. Assuming my original theory was true, it doesn't matter what the white guy said or did after, he completely instigated the entire thing. He would have been picking on someone who he determined wouldn't let that comment go in an effort to start a conflict and moving to the front of the bus doesn't change anything.
I know am jumping to some conclusions by thinking this and what made me do that was hearing about the guy starting trouble before(getting tazed at a baseball game, the clip of him after he got off the bus). It seems more likely that this guy was just starting trouble again and I don't see why we should give him the benefit of the doubt instead of someone who has no history of this kind of stuff(that we are aware of at least).
In the video in question, you can see him decide to escalate a verbal argument to physical violence AFTER the other party to the argument walked away, so I'm not entirely sure it's fair to say that he's the one deserving the benefit of the doubt. Also, didn't he turn out to be a convicted murderer who was violating his parole by carrying a knife? And didn't he threaten the other guy with it? I don't know what exactly you mean by "this kind of stuff", but if that's true, it's also probably not fair to say that he had no history of instigating altercations.
