I'm a Socialist, and even though I don't think Obama will be in the socialism fan club, if he's not elected I'm leaving the country. I already hate this country enough, what with being the World Police and all, I want nothing to do with it if we take another 8 steps backwards.
Also;
Voting Obama to keep nosferatu and Kitty Farmer from entering the White House.
Where was the George Bush option?
quotes from the internet
+1 Maggie Thatcher
The poll was quite a lot fucking closer before I went to bed, which was when I made my last post, and now Obama has the clearest lead. And stop being so serious about a comedy option, Adolf Hitler is a clear comedy option along with Margaret Thatcher. I'm not going to leave the people who can't vote to not be able to participate in the poll for fun.

Remember when people were like "If Bush gets reelected then I am leaving the country!" and yet they are still here.....
McCain isn't horrible, he's a big figure here in AZ and the only reason why I didn't vote for him is I just don't want Palin anywhere near Washington.
And honestly, regardless of whether he wins or loses the election, I'd still have to deal with him either way. He'll still be Senator here if he loses. So I'm indifferent with him being President, Palin is just scary to me. So is Biden, but I don't see Obama kicking the can anytime soon.

Just curious-- what scares you about Biden?
Also, I agree that McCain isn't really that bad. Aside from the fact that I agree more with Obama's platform, the reasons why I will absolutely not vote for McCain is because of the strong influence that will be exerted on his administration by the Republican Neo-Cons and Christian Fundamentalists (as is evidenced by his conciliatory choice of Palin as a running mate) and also because Palin in particular scares me.
I love how McCain is only just infront of Hitler.
On a serious note, I aint a yank and the idea of Palin in that position scares me. When I see clips of her supporters it just...I mean...how is it possible that in this day and age people can still be so fucking stupid and so fucking ignorant/bigotted.
Hmm Adolf Hitler and John McCain almost have the same amount of votes, similar? I think so.
Your comments make me laugh. Not because I think you're dumb, but because I know exactly what you mean. A little while ago I was listening to reporters interview Palin supporters and the things they say just blow me away. They were saying something along the lines of supporting her not because they like her views and politics in fact they said they disagree with alot of them but they support her because of her upbeat nature, how she acts and soling because they want a woman in the white house. How the fuck do people think like this even exist. McCain supporters aren't much better either. They are just as ignorant.
What I love the most is how Obama is a terrorist, if you believe the Palin camp. They talk about him being an Arab, muslim etc and...I mean if you go to a political rally, one would assume you would therefore take an interest in politics. I would expect these people to be amongst the least ignorant when it comes to politics.
The reason this poll isn't indicative of the national poll is because on the internet are a disproportionate amount of liberals when compared to the national populace. It also has to do with the population on this website being generally young and poor, as the young and the poor are more likely to vote Democrat.
If this election has proved anything it is that America doesn't know anything about politics, and it sure as hell doesn't know anything about economics. If you care about the economic stability of this country there is only one choice. If you care more about foreign and domestic policy, then things are more open to interpretation.
Damn I cut my penis up real bad.
As was said, Palin likes to make out like he has links to them. Fair play to McCain for putting people straight, I seen a clip of him telling some old fuck that Obama isn't an Arab. How the fuck did she come to that conclusion?
I'd say when it comes to foreign policy, democrat seems like a better option, although I suppose that depends on your individual views. I like the noises coming out of the Obama camp, he recognises that there is a rift between the USA and large parts of the rest of the world and that this is a bad thing. People think the republicans are better for national security, I strongly disagree, I think the current foreign policies probably do a great deal to threaten national security.
I think building bridges instead of burning them is the best way to go, reduce the number of enemies you have. Granted, I am just some internet nerd who knows nothing about this kind of thing, its a pretty simplistic way to look at it, but I don't think bullish isolation can be very helpful. I think Ron Paul hit the nail on the head when it came to this issue.
I don't know how well that would sell though...some of the paranoid bullshit I have heard from some people in America, talking as if they are under constant, terrible danger and that terrorists could strike any minute, when you manage to instil that kind of fear into people I think it spells bad news. Fear and rationality don't make good bed fellows. Fear is what neo con policy tends to build, to the best of my knowledge it is a crucial part of it and, I think (no matter how much you think what I said is bullshit) that those who are scared, aren't rational. Unless you are one of them. And that doesn't bode well for a democracy.
I actually kind of (kind of) liked the McCain of the 2000 run. I can't STAND him this time around, because back in 2000 he stood on his own laurels and fought for what he believed in (which caused him to not get the nomination). This time around though he is playing ball and just doing what he is told to do. I do not care for that at all as it is not a quality of a leader.
]THE ECONOMY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN FOREIGN POLICY YOU DUMBFUCKS!!!!
If the economy goes under there won't be an America to have bad foreign relations with other countries.Who cares if Obama has better foreign policy and is more likable? His economic plans our going to drive this country into the ground. Why doesn't anyone care about that?
Oh, and for emphasis
Choosing not to vote for the best person to be president because of his running mate is ridiculously irresponsible!
And don't say McCain is going to die and Palin will be president. That argument is baseless.

I don't know what candidate you are referring to because it certainly isn't Obama or McCain. They both have terrible economic policies. We need to fix things at the root of the problem - the Federal Reserve banking system - but they refuse to even mention that the Fed might even POSSIBLY be part of the problem.
edit (just saw your post above): wow and I even thought you were referring to Obama as the one candidate with good monetary policies. McCain is even worse than Obama - he has admitted in the primary debates that he doesn't know much about economics.

I didn't vote based on that, I just don't want Palin anywhere near Washington. She can stay in Alaska and out of sight and out of mind. I think she's just all around horrible.
Before she was picked I was even divided between Obama and McCain. In the end I just think the Republicans need to be defeated this election so they regroup on their policies and get back to being the party they were.
McCain will get rid of these horrible quota hiring laws.
Was that aimed at anyone in particular? Incase it was, uh huh no shit the economy is way more important. I just chose to talk about 1 issue, not all, that doesn't mean I hold it more important, or am ignorant to the other issues. I will let you off the hook since you are black.
