For the record, I didn't honestly mean that shelters are full of half bred retarded mutts. As a matter of fact, and I've mentioned her in other threads, the dog I had before I got Julie was a German Shepherd I adopted from a shelter when I was in middle school, and I had her up until I went to college. She was hit by a truck, and basically died in my arms.
