maybe instead of legalizing look at why people dislike their world or themselves so much that they need the escape and address those issues.

but for all the people who say to legalize -- i think it's great that you all have such an open mind so you won't have have a problem with someone being high and driving your kids' school bus, or flying your airplanes, or driving on the road with you. and why care that it has a profound affect on memory (my brother smoked so much he could barely read after high school) and has been shown to actually mutate DNA (and not in the cool "x-men" kind of way)?

the argument isn't that it makes you sick -- if that was all it did i'd have no problem with making it legal. i don't care if people choose to kill themselves -- it's evolutions way of thinning the weak from the herd -- it's that it affects people in a way that causes affects on other people (see above.) when people are swerving on the road because of too many potatoes then i will gladly sign the "ban the spud" petitions.
