and it explains how the ACTUAL normal body temp is 98.2, NOT 98.6.
Long story short, the 98.6 stuff came from a nearly 150 year old study of limited sample size plus an error factor due to the conversions between centigrade and fahrenheit. Some more modern research is suggesting 98.2 is the "normal" temperature, but realizes that what is "normal" for one person may be different from another.

This is good news to hear, as my usual body resting body temp is around 95.6-96.0 and when I go in for check-ups they often think their equipment is messed up. A temperature of 99 is a pretty good fever for me.
