Understand that what you're going to need a Passport first and foremost. Chances may be, depending on the community she works in, you might have to have a chartered flight from the closest airport. Be sure to get vaccinated. If you know how to navigate an airport, then you should be fine.

Are you aware of how incredibly expensive a flight to Africa costs?

She's with Global Volunteer Network, she's taking care of orphaned children. Yea I knew about the vaccinations and such. I'm aware of how much it costs but alot of people are offering me their FF miles which is nice of them. So the trip will cost me close to nothing.
