I'm going to flush coqauvin again unless Atmosfear's earth shattering news changes my mind.
I too will flush coqauvin though I'm not 100% that he's mafia. It's clear that he's our best choice, as we can always lynch sneed on the next day.
I was PMed shortly after the day began and another player revealed that he (grammatical function you overanalytical fags) was the nurse and that I was the target. Since I suspect that coq is lying, I will not publicly reveal the other player. Obviously, this makes me a target tonight, so if the real nurse (who remains hidden) would protect me, I'd appreciate it.
you could also be lying your teeth out in hopes of the real nurse revealing his/her identity to call your bullshit, but if he did then he's a sitting duck and our chances of winning the game get significantly lower. but since it's actually kind of a bold, and somewhat unnecesary move (seeing how at this point almost noone suspects you) the tradeoff isn't good. although distrusting everyone seems like the general rule to playing this game, this makes me think you're a townsperson.Quote:

If you believe them, the mafia get 1 townie lynched for free and protect the last mafia from suspicion for at least another 2 rounds. If you disbelieve them, they get 1 mafia protected for a while, while you run around lynching everyone else (say, for 2 rounds or so). The problem is, you'll never know unless you lynch both the named ones or the Sheriff has identified which is which, which isn't possible now.

I've checked now and Snead hasn't been active since August 21. As Shrike said (rather surprisingly adeptly, I might add), his (edit: coqauvin's) optimal play was to lie about one person, so the best case is we lynch a town and abandon his accusation, and worst case we lynch a mafia and then lynch a town thinking he was truthful. Since Snead was already as good as dead when Coqauvin slipped, he would have assumed we'd go back to lynching him first.

the day that think got lynched simonj voted to flush think, maybe it was so that the third mafia member could remain hidden and a tie could be forced. the best that could happen? think gets lynched because of a coin toss and coq lives to kill again, which luckily happened, it was the best that could be done without being too obvious about saving coq from a lynching.
then coq "accepted" defeat, theres a chance he pointed out an innocent player and a mafia member (snead and simonj respectively) in that post, so that we all thought "lol terrible bluff they are both innocent" and would lead us to think atmosfear and someone else (infernus?) are both mafia members.
so it's a far fetched theory, againts a somewhat possible one. still, i'll give this aditional thought, even though it seems like "go with the simplest explanation" kind of thing
