Ok dudes, if you don't know Dota 2 is a video game. Its genre is hard to explain, some try to say MOBA(Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) but the most basic one would be Action real time strategy. But it basically derived from a Warcraft 3 custom map called Defense of the Ancient. It got pretty popular there, and just blew up, and ended up having actual development teams which is rare for a custom map.
Valve hired those dudes and started development on Dota 2, which is currently in beta on steam. The games hard to explain but this guy does it well
Its a very team oriented game and is fun because of the variety of heroes that there are.

clocked in 484 hours. It's obviously more fun when you have more friends to play with, with everyone getting beta keys, about 20 people on my steam friends own the game now, but I already have a solid team of 5, so maybe I'll just in-house with my other friends one day. I'll also add that my friends that have been playing LoL for a while, have now gotten bored of it and are dying for Dota2 beta keys. I think if you're coming over, you'll be fine. You already understand map awareness and last hitting, you just need to spend a long time learning all the heroes/items. The advanced mechanics can be huge, and even after 6 years I'm still learning things on a regular basis.
