Yeah, some people are pretty ridiculous. I have around 4k games played I think, most of those are from before summer. I'd say the average games played of pros by now is around 7k. This one guy, Pilez, dropped out of high school to play Halo and has around 14k games played. That's not the most pathetic part though. He's been to 2 events and only placed top 24 at both of them (which is a god awful placing for someone who plays that much). That's not even enough to get a travel stipend (top 16) or prize money (top 8). Its funny, because every time I run into him he tries to talk shit to me, and I just sit there and laugh. I really don't have to say anything. The only other person I know of that's done that is T2, and he's on the #1 team, the poster boy for MLG, and he's going to be on Dr. Pepper bottles in 2009.

This is where I would try to explain to you the concept of playing a game more when it first comes out if I thought you would be able to comprehend it.

Sure. My list is probably full though. I usually make a second account from time to time so I can play with friends without being a 50 so I'll add you on that once I make it.

I just thought to post this here too because I won't be on it after the first event of next year. We're there in 30th. Before Dallas, my old team was around 22nd or so, but we did terrible at Dallas and dropped down a lot. So there is my proof I'm good before it goes away (unless I decide to play as much as all these H3 kids with 10k games played, but that's not likely.)
