Quite a few of the people that I work with have been trying to get me into WoW for a while now, and I finally caved. I bought the game, and am now playing the shit out of it. It's horribly addicting.
A moment of silence for our fallen comrade.
Server etc etc
I'm sorry for your loss.

It will only be addicting if you let it be. Control yourself so you don't get too sucked into it.
A coworker of mine was telling me about the new expansion and I really want to try some of the new pvp stuff so I was thinking about getting back into it. I probably wont though.
I have never played it. I did see the South Park episode on it and that was funny but I don't really see the appeal of this game.
Where do you work?
Same thing happened to me with heroin. I didn't think I could get hooked and then boom. Now I can't go for more than a day without it.
I don't see how this is a good thing.
its 2008
What server?
I played it for 2 months a couple years ago and got a Wizard/Mage/whatever to 60 and proceeded to quit. The first time I told someone I wasn't going out because I was doing a raid I decided that it wasn't worth it to me.
I enjoyed it enough up to that point, I guess, but it was more just a convenient time waster during a semester I was only taking 2 classes.
Never played it. Looks to me like it's a huge waste of time and money.
you have to have a ridiculously low amount of willpower to get addicted to a video game
To be honest boredom is the cause of a large portion of my addictive behavior.
