It's a nice PC, but eight grand means I will have to suck so much cock I'm now taking up donations for chapstick.

I saw this a few days ago. The most ridiculous thing I thought was that they recommended that you don't use it unless you have a 30 inch monitor or larger. Using a huge TV doesn't tend to make the picture look good, typically it just pixelizes everything because the video cards on most computers aren't large enough to make a difference. I'd be interested to see how it worked on my 42".
I would like to receive this computer as a gift.
i think i just had the biggest nerdgasm of my life.
Thats nice.
Just build that for a reasonable price; and you're never going to need 12gb of ram.
Yeah if you bought it in 1998.
'99, actually. Came custom with Windows ME, which sits just above Vista for best version ever.
Really, if you bought that you would have to live an extravagant lifestyle or your life centers around a computer.

Just build it for fucks sake.
Its not hard to build a PC, and yeah, you won't need 12gb of ram for a good few years.
I bet if you built it you could do it for 3 grand.
Does it play minesweeper and solitaire?
You just said 11.75TB of hard drive space.
i7 956 - $1030
ASUS Rampage II Extreme - $400
4870 x2 - $500 x 2 = $1000
Intel X25-M SSD - $540
G.Skill 2GBx3 ram kit - $170
Subtotal - $3140
Still need PSU, Case, 2 1TB hard drives, misc - I'd say $1k more for nicer stuff.
Another $1k to watercool everything.
Shit that's expensive.
i thought the building your own pc thing was established in the minds of internets like 7 years ago
It has to run Windows 3.11 because every OS since then sucked.
