He does whatever accent he used for the movie he is promoting. It depends on what accent he used in the film.
Yup. It allows the audience to better connect and get drawn into the characters if they associate his 'normal voice' with his movie voice and makes all of his characters much more empathetic.
I've seen him do an interview for Dark Knight in his Welsh accent.
Was he in the US or other places?
Becaues I was just agreeing for the sake of not arguing.
errrrr i think it was a US interview
it was one of those annoying ones where they're sitting in front of a poster of whatever movie they're promoting being asked insipid questions by an obsequious little manmonkey just out of frame
you know those ones
hahah
Oh, because TDK premiered in London and he would have used his real voice for that I think.
It is probably just on talk shows, though.
itt we talk about Christian Bale's accents instead of the topic of the thread
Was that the hostage one?
Yeah, it just made me tired. It's gotten to the point where they need a madman with a gun to take hostages to move some character development forward. It was interesting, but it just stretched my suspension of disbelief until my disbelief was no longer suspended.
I don't watch House for its brilliant character development, personally. I watch it because I want to bone the shit out of House and then take Wilson to a nice play.
I wish Cuddy and House would just get together already
This is gonna be just like Fred and Wes. They fall in love, and Bam. Cuddy gets possessed and killed by an ancient demon.
I watch House because I feel that I'm surrounded by people who are inept. I only get tired of it when it's really far-fetched (like the hostage episode) or if when they talk about the brain and I become aware that they oversimplify the show and make up stuff that's just inaccurate (like the pin in the one girls brain putting pressure on her "addiction center" wtf?).
Then there are people who are extremely arrogant...and they'll never be able to have true friendships/relationships due to their need to one-up everybody and/or just show how extremely intelligent they are.
No wonder you like House. You're just like House! Except House saves lives...you destroy them.
Now, I am excited for this week's episode. I want to see Cuddy and House get some intimacy all up in their lifestyles.
yeah pretty much
