Recently I grabbed TONS of Snes emulated games, and though it's a great trip down memory lane, the whole keyboard thing isn't working out for me. Can any of you recommend me a joystick/paddle that would work for SNES ROMS?

Uh, I think ZSNES supports most controllers. A lot of people use an XBOX 360 controller, but I have a cheap one I use just fine. Saitek P880 I think it is.
Errmmm...My computer hates me right now...but I'm sure if you google a bit....I remember there being a way to turn an SNES controller into a mouse type of thing.
I have a Gravis Gamepad Pro ( Amazon.com: Kensington/Gravis Gamepad Pro (USB) - 42111: Electronics@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41YX7YR374L.@@AMEPARAM@@41YX7YR374L , they don't have sellers there though, just was the first link I found ).
It set me back about $20 like 8-9 years ago, and I've used it with ZSNES and the other emulators with no problems at all. You can probably pick up a new or even used one for next to nothing. It is USB.

Looks like it is out of stock right now. I bought an NES one of the USB adapter, works great.
