One of my earliest memories would be that of playing Mega Man 4 and consistently never beating any robot master. I don't know if it was that I was bad at gaming, but I would always go through Dive Man's or Skull Man's levels. I found Dust Man's level to be too scary at the time, and I didn't like Drill Man as he would tunnel under the ground and freak me out.

I grew up around the NES, so naturally majority of my memories are from those games. Picking the fat players on Ice Hockey, flying through canyons of Captain Skyhawk, getting the first whistle in SMB3. Even cheating in Duck Hunt by pressing the Zapper up to the screen.

Other than that, I used to play Atari (dunno what one, I think 2600), and play Pitfall, Boxing, and Barnstorming over my cousin's house during the holiday visits.

One last thing... fucking never figuring out how to open the Selentic Age in Myst. The Piano was screwed up or something, because even checking guides on how to place the keys, I couldn't open the book compartment. Lo and behold, I could easily pull it off in RealMyst. That's line of games had it out for me.
