    Default Fallout: New Vegas

    Being a die hard fan of the Fallout series, I am planning on getting the newest release (scheduled for 2010), Fallout New Vegas. Now, there are plenty of tasty tidbits and rumors flying about the web, but I am not the most savvy net gossiper. So I was wondering if any of you gamer haven goers have heard any really good stuff about this game? My biggest concern is which platform to buy for. I am still pretty pissed that the PS3 didn't get any of the DLC, and if this was going to be the case for New Vegas, whether I should start looking for a new PC to play this game on.

    Anyway...

    Comments, opinions, and observations anyone wanna share about this game?

    I know, it's seems like they are biting an awful lot. But apparently they've got the entire Black Isle think tank who had released the original fallout working on New Vegas.

    I thought they released The Pitt not too long ago? Operation Anchorage was first, then the Pitt, and Broken steel is slated for release tomorrow.

    Er, I'm almost certain that the DLC would be given to the PS3 in due time, but the 360 is getting first dibs. As for New Vegas, fuck yeah! I look forward to staying up late hours of the night.

    The biggest thing I want put into New Vegas is the Chrysalis Motors Highwayman. I mean, if they could put several types of mounts in Oblivion, can't New Vegas have a set of wheels?

    I hope its a lot harder than Fallout 3. I just beat the game and it gets wayyy easier the longer you play. There is also way to much ammo and stimpacks and its too easy to find. Caps are also pretty much pointless.

    I was let down by the shortness and lack of an RP element. I mean in fallout 1 and 2, you got the whole waste land flavor going on and had all those random side quests and instances (like growing a mutated toe you could eat and meeting the person who made jet) that made the game so much more entertaining. So I hope they tone down the whole FPS element and focus on RP.

    Sounds like you played it on easy or something, I had a fairly hard time finding enough of ammo, stims and caps.
