...I highly recommend it. The plot is original and so are the characters (though their "powers" are a little ridiculous). It has a few twists and turns here and there that are fantastic. Oh, and it's fucking hilarious so that's great too.

If you are too lazy to google Chew, then here's the run down. A type of avian flu kills millions world wide, including about 5 million Americans. All poultry is outlawed to prevent another disaster making buying, selling, or even eating chicken a capital offense. Now the FDA becomes the most powerful government agency, allowed to do pretty much whatever the fuck they want as long as they do their jobs.

The comic focuses on Tony Chu, a cibopath. That means anything he eats (save for beets) gives him a psychic impression so he could tell where it came from, where it was when it was cooked, etc. At first you think it's a useless power, until he starts eating a serial killer to get the names of all his victims. Pretty sweet. So now Tony Chu fights the poultry bases speak-easies and fried chicken smugglers to make the world a safer place.

Go. Fucking. Read. It. Now.
