I don't care about realism as long as it isn't trying to be realistic. Which is why I didn't have a problem at all with this movie while watching it, I was like "oh ok this is set in some sort of world where all these people have ridiculous strength and can get the shit beaten out of them and still hardly even notice." So yeah if that's the case, then no problem. But punching through concrete walls like that isn't something I've seen in a human. I can understand in martial arts the easy concrete crap they break through, but not the wall in that movie. Assuming I do believe he could do that and not have it phase him, how about being on the receiving end of those punches and acting like they are about as powerful as a poke?
Anyway yeah, I'll just go with the original interpretation that this is its own movie, and changed the laws of the universe it was based in (assuming it was based in anything resembling realism in the first place). It was a pretty cool superhero movie.
