I've gotten into pretty much every Avengers, and enjoyed them. Just started Thunderbolts (Venom is beyond amazing). I'm also reading the Ultimate Universe (shaddup, I enjoy the revamp) and still looking for certain copies of Xcaliber.
I really like Thunderbolts. I'm really excited about the future issues now that Dark Reign has started.
I read the comics in the newspaper occasionally. I used to read comics when I was little, I just never got that into them.
Marvel-Fag: everything but stuff written by Millar, most titles not in 616 continuity (especially New Exiles), New Warriors, The Order, and Moon Knight. Also never got into Young Avengers or Runaways, but I've been meaning to read Runaways from the beginning at some point.
DC: All things Green Lantern related, will probably read Flash titles after Flash: Rebirth
Other: Buffy Season 8, Fables, Jack of Fables, Y the Last Man (before it ended obv)

How much do you spend per month when you buy them?
like 80-100 bucks on average i guess
I haven't read a comic religiously since last year. I keep wanting to get back into "The Boys" and "Hellblazer"
And the new max series of Punisher sounds cool, so I might grab it.
Don't lie Castle, you know you go out every month and buy Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane
So I just started reading the Criminal Macabre series. Great stuff that I highly suggest to everyone! It combines the satire of the classic, self-loathing detective with the random WTF?! of horror.
Gooood stuff.
Nermy what do you think of Buffy season 8
I've been reading that (obviously) as well as the Angel After the Fall comics, which is much less good but still alright. I've also read Fray, because, well, yeah.
Aside from that I've read some X-Men (including but not limited to Joss's run), a few one-offs of various characters (Wolverine, Spidey, Punisher, Hulk, Batman) and a bunch of graphic novels (Watchmen, Vendetta, uhh some more I can't remember).
Well so far it's been good enough to keep me interested. The storylines by Whedon and Vaughn have been the best obviously (although I felt the Fray crossover was definitely lacking). Some of the character development I'm not a fan of, like the whole Buffy having sex with the lesbian slayer thing. Overall I'd say it's pretty good writing, with mediocre to average storylines for the most part.
I can't shake the feeling of impatience; I'm being made to wait far too long to find out something substantive about Twilight.
I thought Buffy's experimentalism was pretty in line with her character, though. I liked where that story went.
Most of the stuff Alan Moore's famous for (getting through the more obscure stuff now) and JTHM
I've been reading the Street Fighter comics by Udon. Street Fighter II Turbo and Street Fighter IV. I just read what i find amusing i don't really look for story so i read some crappy comics. e.g. Hulk (Jeph Loeb)
I've also been reading Ender's Game, took me a while to realize that Ender's Shadow wasn't about Ender. There are probably one or two i'm forgetting
Question for you guys: Preacher or Sandman? or something else?
Im reading Deadpool v3, Xmen Noir, Spiderman Noir. So far the Noir series have been pretty meh. Hoping Daredevil and Punisher Noirs step it up a bit.
can someone recommend me a good series to read? something sorta violent/horror-y but not too much...
Don't know how to call them, but I started with Planet Hulk and went crazy. I love the War World Hulk series and I finally read Green Hulk vs Red Hulk. I'm also into Thor so I've been hunting and reading essential Thor and all the new stuff. I was pretty excited to read GHvsRH and the revival of Thor. I also read Hellboy and BRPD. I'm getting into Green Latern Corps. Picked up on several smaller series of comics such as Ignition City and Wizard of Oz. My friend let me read Y the Last Man & that is some fucking awesome material. Oh yeah, also into War of the Kings and looking to browse into Dark Reign and read up on Secret Invasion and the other stuff about the Infinity Ring/Gauntlet/Crusade etc. I want to read more Civil War and House of M.
