...is Baccano! If Pulp Fiction were an anime, it's be this one. The plot is a little too confusing to explain, but trust me, it's definitely worth looking into.

my housemate has been watching the original dragonball all week
i think its pretty shit really, apart from master oshi being a massive perv, thats kinda funny.
apart from that its just boring kids program.
speaking of anime though, has anyone been watching FMA: Brotherhood?
I downloaded a bunch of FMA: Brotherhood episodes but then I read it's pretty much the original story except for it follows the manga more closely.
done
lol uhhh well dunno where you read that but the story is completly different and more involved.
not read the manga, but the due to the more involved storyline brotherhood has, that doesn't surprise me.
but yeah lol storyline isn't anywhere near the same..
you should watch it, its fucking awesome. better than original fma i think.
learn to check msn noob.
i left you a message with links to the entire series.
oh that explains why you're always online but never reply to me
Cowboy Bebop is garbage. Just throwing that out there.
FMA Brotherhood is pretty great though.

I think all the well known animes are garbage. Naruto, pokemon, trigun, cowboy bebop, dbz...
its all shit imo
but yeah, how cool was the last few FMA brotherhood episodes?!
so yeah just watched ep60 of brotherhood. came out yesterday.
ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
WTF.
edit:
also another lol about saying the storyline is the same as normal fma
nowai jose
DBZ isn't that bad if you take out all of the filler garbage. Then again that only leaves you with about twenty four minutes of actual storylline...

lol that classifies it as a bad program imo
Watching DBZ was fucking expensive as a kid. I didn't have cable so I had to buy the video tapes and there were only 4 episodes per tape.

Man, I started watching One Piece last year, and fuck is it good. The characters are awesome and the story lines are so complex. The world is so expansive without feeling underdeveloped. After you get through the introductory arcs it is just the bee's knees. Of course, it would probably not appeal to a casual viewer, as they are 486 episodes in, but fuck does it pay off.
The only problem I have with One Peace is the total overload of characters. I mean you have the 4 Emperors, the 7 Pirate Kings, the World Government, the Fishmen, Cipher 1, the 7 Super Novas, and then the various pirate crews who aren't associated with any of them. Holy shit. You need a goddamn encyclopedia to make it through an episode.
What's it about?

There is this legendary pirate who conquered every sea and amassed a giant treasure and left it on an uncharted island. He was captured by the world government and publicly executed, but with his final words he revealed the existence of his treasure to the world, which launched a wave of new pirates on a search for the hidden island. It follows the pirate Strawhat Luffy as he collects a crew and works his way to finding the treasure and becoming the new pirate king while fighting the marines and rival pirates. The world is complex, but that's a basic overview.
I can't really think of anything I could compare it too. Like I said, the first few introductory arcs when the first few crew members come together are pretty meh, but it accelerates quickly, and the point it is at now every episode is epic as shit. The series just starts out a little silly.
Heh, there are a lot of characters, but it's not like they throw all of them at you at once. All of those characters were gradually introduced within the context of the story. I will admit that The Whitebeard War gets to be kind of a clusterfuck if you think about all of the characters who we know that are there, but they build up to it for like 450 episodes after everyone except Akainu has been introduced.
I guess that's true, but it kind of gets overwhelming. I mean, they haven't even introduced all 4 Emperor's yet and then BAM! The freaking Super Novas come out of nowhere and each gets introduced right off the bat. I'm afraid they'll end up with too many kickass characters and not enough story to be able to squeeze them all in.
I was kinda hoping the Whitebeard War was going to do a character purge, but no. They just managed to kill Ace and Whitebeard. An entire war and only two not-quite-main characters die. WTF? Sometimes I think the story kinda takes control of the writers and not vice versa.
Hehe, if anything it did the opposite of a character purge. There will be even more pirates now that Whitebeard went and said what he said. I don't have any trouble keeping up with everyone, so it doesn't really bother me. And the events of the war changed the condition of the whole world. To have the most powerful and feared man in the world all of a sudden be dead is going to lead to a significant power shift as well as a sizable bit of chaos I would guess, which will be interesting to see.
Yeah, but I feel it would have been best to save the whole power vacuum AFTER you were kind of introduced to all the major players (and "not WTF who is he?" ones like Kong). But is it a bad thing that I was kinda rooting for Blackbeard? He's kinda my favorite character on the show.
Hehe, I don't think it's bad. They did a fantastic job of taking this random pie-eating optimist dreamer and turning him into a ruthless unstoppable sonuva bitch.
Also, Kong had been mentioned before, just never seen. I had forgotten about that though. I wonder what Sengoku has been up to during the time skip.
Well he and Garp retired so my money is on...
Option A) They join up with Dragon now that they lost faith with the world gov.
Option B) Become apart of some secret Military branch that will happen to show up when Luffy is in trouble.
Option C) Get a quick backstory in the future followed by death (the Naruto method).
