Well to be fair other polls seem to suggest slightly larger or smaller percentages. Any for both Americans and Britons they all mostly seem to say that 50 to 60% of the countries' populations reject evolution, i.e. approximately 1 in 2 to 1 in 1.7.

The English are stupid and the Americans are stupid.

Tonight I was on a bill with a female comic from Canada who seemed to believe she was funny.

So the Canadians are stupid too.

Those statistics are true. However, the American poll says that only 40% of Americans completely reject evolution, which is more in line with what I would expect.

i mean i don't want to say that anecdotes count for a lot, but i have literally never met anybody with a poncy accent and bad teeth who thinks evolution is some kind of myth

I actually didn't get this at first. But then again unless I google, I don't usually hear of this term. The only thing I mainly remember is animals licking windows because of the condensation. But anyways usually I am close to a source of clean water. So this never applied to me. Unless maybe you are kid and you are a curious. I remember trying play-dough. It was so salty. Or putting lego in my mouth. When I was a kid I didn't worry so much about germs. But back then if I was hungry I usually had to wait for my parents to feed me. I don't eat play dough or chew on legos anymore. I also sometimes chewed on my toy cars or play food. Maybe I was hungry or something. Anyways I don't do that anymore. I don't remember that much why I did that. Maybe I was bored. I also used to eat paper. But now I don't like the taste of eating paper.
